It was another back to front victory for Team Abba Racing this weekend in the Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship at Silverstone.
Having qualified 12th on the grid and first in class, a great start by Sam Neary in race one took the car to 7th overall with a 50 second lead over P2 in class. A mechanical failure tripped the team up however and took Team Abba Racing out of race one.
A frantic fix followed but it meant the team started race two from the back of the grid. Not deterred on his 17th birthday, Sam Neary made up 20 places in lap one to take class lead with Richard taking over 30 minutes in and then working his way further up the board to bring the car home in P1 in class and 4th overall.
Superb driving from both Sam and Richard this weekend in very unpredictable weather conditions and another sterling team effort.
The next Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship round is at Brands Hatch on Saturday 11th May.
