Driver Richard Neary has more than 30 years racing experience competing in the British GT Championship since 2016, Britcar, Vecta challenge, Dutch Supercar Challenge, Thundersaloons, and some 24 hour races.
Richard is this year racing his Mercedes AMG GT3 in the 2019 British GT Championship partnered with Adam Christodoulou. He is also racing in selected Britcar Endurance Championship and GT Cup races with son Sam Neary.
After many years of dabbling in motorsport Richard took the plunge at more serious racing in 2016. Richard is married to Sally and has three children; Joe, Sam and Katie.
New driver Sam Neary is just 17. Last year he started racing in the Team Abba Racing BMW M3 and in less than 12 weeks earned his International C racing licence.
In October 2018 Sam took part in the Creventic 12hr endurance race at Spa. Team Abba Racing achieved a class podium position to round off the 2018 season.
In 2019 Sam started racing with Richard Neary in the Mercedes AMG GT3 and is believed to be the youngest ever pole sitter and race winner in a GT3 car at the age of 17.
Expect to hear more from Sam in 2020.
